item A word from SNT

Jean-Pierre Blavec, SNT President The MUMM 30 World Championship will be taking place in La Trinité-sur-Mer from 28th May to 4th June 2005.

A premiere for the SNT which plays host to a fine fleet of MUMM 30s every year at the Spi Ouest-France (30 this year, results are available here).
The MUMM Class is a prestigious one, present in the United States, Europe, but also in Australia and New Zealand...

The MUMM 30 compete in the world's greatest regattas, particularly in France, where they are sailed in the famous Tour de France à la Voile...
All of the MUMM 30 have top level skippers. French yachtsmen Pierre-Loic BERTHET and Jimmy PAHUN often make it to one of the top three places !

We should like to thank the International Class (Farr International), the European Class (RORC) and the French Class and its President Eric BASSET for having chosen La Trinité-sur-Mer.

In 2005, the SNT will be celebrating its 126th anniversary this year, and many regattas area being held throughout the year.
For this exceptional event, the SNT will be doing everything it can out on the water and ashore to ensure that this World Championship is a truly fine event, worthy of the class.

Jean-Pierre Blavec,
President of the SNT.
